The Airline
Southeast Airlines is headquartered in Largo, Florida. The airline was
founded in 1992 under U.S. Department of Transportation regulations
as a Part 121 Supplemental carrier. Southeast Airlines meets the exact
same maintenance and service requirements as commercial airlines such
as Delta Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines, etc. The difference
between Southeast Airlines and the other carriers is how we sell seats
to the public. Under federal regulations we are classified as a charter
airline and that simply means that we must escrow each passengers
funds paid in advance of travel dates in a federally approved depository
bank until that passenger has traveled. This provides the maximum consumer
protection possible.
